Courier Costs and Information
Processing times: We process orders Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm excluding weekends and public holidays. We will process your order once we have received payment in full. We will do our best to processes your order on the same day we receive it (assuming payment is also received the same day), and all finalised orders are picked up by CourierPost every day at 5pm. CourierPost will deliver your order based on the delivery table below.
Packaging: We pack all of your items carefully, and individually wrap all fragile items. We label all our parcels as FRAGILE to let CourierPost know to handle the item with care.
Courier: We use CourierPost for sending all our orders. All deliveries are tracked, and a signature is required from you to receive your order.
Dispatch: When you place your order we send as soon as payment is received.
Delivery time: Please see table below. Courier Post only deliveres Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm. Excluding public holidays.
The cost of the courier is calculated on total shipping weight and distance. Our system automatically combines your products and calculates the best rate for you. Please note that weight shown on the product page is the net weight of the contents not the shipping weight including packaging.

Rural Delivery: Rural delivery may take up to 2-3 additional days more than standard delivery times. We do not charge any extra for rural delivery.
Delivery and receipt of your order: It is your responsibility as the customer to open your package and inspect it BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR IT. If the items have arrived in good condition, then you should give the courier your signature to acknowledge that the goods have been received in good condition. If any of the items of your order are damaged, DO NOT SIGN or ACCEPT THE ORDER. For more information on damages please see below.
Damages: We have had the occasional package arrive damaged, where the damage occured during the handling and care of CourierPost. It is not common but it sometimes happens. All items in your order leave our warehouse in good condition, so when items get damaged its always occurs while being sorted and delivered. To help us make a damages claim from CourierPost please open your package and inspect all your items BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR IT. If any item is damaged, please let the courier driver know its damaged, and DO NOT SIGN or ACCEPT THE ORDER. Its also useful to send us photos of any items that were damanged. Notify us straight away and we can resend your order.
If you receive your order and sign for it, you or Amigo Foods will be unable to claim for damages from CourierPost if you later discover there are damaged items in your package.
